nature, habitat - soil erosion

Adding on to wanjia's post, deforestation affects the growth of other plants as soil erosion would occur. The roots of the trees secure the soil, but without roots the soil would divide themselves unevenly and affect the growth of other plants. Many living things would die as they live on land and their habitat is being destroyed. Also, without the other plants to beautify our surrounding, the world would look very dull. But of course, the cause of soil erosion is not only deforestation, acid rain is also one of the causes. What causes rain to be acidic ? For instance, acidic sulphur is being produced by factories, the sulphur is being washed into rivers, drains, etc and is evaporated. This vicious cycle repeats and thus acidic rain is created. Firstly, people should do re-forestation, secondly, they should encourage factories to dispose their waste in a correct and proper manner. With that, i end my post (:
